The location of Almina Hotel couldn't be better, just a short 10-minute walk to Sultanahmet Square. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace served a diverse selection that was fresh every morning and offered stunning views. The room was clean, with a comfy bed, and the free Wi-Fi allowed me to catch up on Netflix. The staff were polite and helpful, especially Nazleh at the front desk, who went out of her way to upgrade us to a spacious room. However, the room could use some upkeep. the furnishings were worn and the bathroom felt dated. The shower design was awkward, too. Additionally, while the power of the hairdryer was great, the TV was rather small and placed too far from the bed, making it hard to see.

The location near major attractions was incredibly convenient, making sightseeing effortless. The rooftop terrace provided a serene spot for breakfast, complete with stunning views and freshly baked apples that were a delightful treat. However, the room could use some updates, as the furnishings felt a bit worn, and the bathroom had design flaws that affected functionality. Additionally, while the staff were generally friendly and accommodating, there were times when responsiveness could improve, particularly during busy hours.

The location was ideal for visiting the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, both within walking distance. Breakfast on the terrace was a treat, with a great variety each morning. The staff were incredibly nice and always eager to help us navigate the city and enjoy our stay.
We had an unfortunate situation when we checked in at midnight, and the room was quite cold since the windows were left open. We had to ask for extra bedding, which was slightly inconvenient.
